Some of this is better than I expected, but as an album that runs through barely distinguishable very closely related subgenres and tries to act more varied than it actually is, it gets tiring as fuck.

There isn't enough here to whoosh, bro.

This album is basically if the worst metalcore and pop punk bands make a compilation album with lyrics that mock themselves wow really funny 4.5/5 best new music
need to be on here too sry but this is bad

i honestly don't get it when people say things like "yea not only is this record very funny but the songs are actually good too!" because these songs aren't supposed to be good, at least in the traditional sense. doesn't matter in the slightest however because this thing is a blast to listen to.

if you don't listen to a decent amount of the genres / styles jarrod is making fun of here you literally have 0 valuable input to give regarding this album

Yeah, cause generic pop punk and slightly varying generic Metalcore is so hard to come by. That was my original point dude. The genres he's parodying are much more closely related than he apparently realizes. You're giving a stagnant scene too much credit

For the record, the more technical Metalcore parodies, and hardcore songs were what I enjoyed most about this, and were having me consider a higher score, but they were too few and far between and unfortunately separated by some really awful stuff.

I've listened to a lot of the genres/styles being parodied here. I gotta say he mimic's the sound very well but it's almost too well. Who really wants to jam a whole album of mostly generic music with lyrics that aren't even that funny. Honestly I find a lot of the bands he is basing these songs off of give me more laughs than the actual parodies here.
