All of the 'The Frame' trilogy are great tracks, but this tops the previous 2.

TLTGB, I've yet to listen to the new Emery LP. Actually, I've even totally avoided the singles. Unsure why tbh.

Its catchy for the genre. "Head bobbing" would maybe be a better term. I didn't expect to be bobbing my head so much.

"Catchy" is a fine term, but yeah, it's all relative. I actually found 'Satori' quite catchy as well... 'Failures' especially.

Great review. Album didn't warm to me as immediately as Satori but feels a lot tighter and has some fantastic moments. The amount of energy is really great.

Thanks Amnesian... Welcome to the site if you're a genuine newbie.

I can't disagree with anything you stated. It seems that these guys really put everything they have into their music.

Any & every year is a good year for alt-rock/post-hardcore.

Yeah, I've been pondering the "save rock n' roll question" as well. I'll check this out, if it's being associated with this band at least indicates potential.

Ben, it might be only you & I, but I'm seriously thinking about writing a 'Sputnik Discusses' blog on the topic. I've got more than enough trashed material from this review for it, that's for sure.

Thanks man. I appreciate the comments more than usual, because I had an awful time writing it tbh. Kinda like the album, nothing would flow perfectly, yet it all (apparently) worked out great at the end.

Yeah, I know that feeling. Some albums are harder to write about than others, for whatever reason.

I'd be definitely interested because things have taken a little too much of swing for the synthetic, and simply most people can't pull it off.
