@tellah eh you're probably right, it read fine for me but I'll change it now, cheers
@Snake ayy you got me
@Mercury yeah I didn't feel right using it so often but I think in the context it's forgiveable. What do you mean by familiar? Did I accidentally take it from another review lol

I enjoy "Give" for some reason. Reminds me of something The Script would write
|

loverboy was a jam but I haven't listened to them since really

@Mecury oh god I remember reading that review you have a good point. It wasn't my intention to copy it though, just thought the tagline would fit well with what I ended up discussing. plz forgive me
|
| |
No worries man I was just like 'holy shit it's word for word'!
At the end of the day the subsequent reviews went on to make two totally different points so it made perfect sense anyway!

Went into this expecting blandness and my expectations were true
Pls don't waste your time Spec

I've always liked his voice but ya the music is still incredibly dull.

i feel like "Why should anyone care about (band/artist) in 2017?" should be the summary for every album now
|
| |
That could be the summary for all reviews in any year in the past, really. But you lose any opportunity for a unique zinger of a summary, if the writer is capable of one, if that were the case.
|
| |
The title track is embarrassingly bad
|
| |
Mercury found it, I knew I had seen that summary before.

The second half is miles better than the first, and the last 2 tunes I could see myself getting into big style, just a shame the first half is so god damn boring.
At least it's only 36 minutes long, so I can get enough listens in quickly to see if any of it grows at all, with the last two songs maybe pushing it to a 3.
|
| |
yea the summary was used on mercurys review of the new a7x, in a very different way
his review made it seem like we should start caring about them again (hence i think the 4 rating). this on the other hand is basically to say "hey continue not caring about this band"

Nah this is the most generic form of radio rock.
