And it was a lot better when they were like that.
What'd he say?
My drummer was asking him about his favorite book of the Bible and the keyboardist was saying how he had been reading Job recently. Fun dude. He's so funny live. He just keeps his finger in the same chord position the whole time on the keyboard, does a power stance, and just headbangs/rocks out the whole time. He's a crowd pumper basically. Intense live show.

this album is amazing, a nice step away from their last album which despite being great was way mainstream. nice and heavy, Spencers vocals got even more stunning, and the music in general is close to perfect. Just as good as Changing Of Times if not better. great review btw

yea, im diggin the low screams...and the dissanont guitar riffs, the norma jean sound. it works for underoath..and they still had some nice melodic chorus's.

i would like to see the faces on the kids who just listened to 'a boy brushed in red' and 'reinventing your exit' all the time and thought that they were hardcore and then bought this album.

A couple of songs actually resembles some Norma Jean. Which IMO is a very good thing.

Sounds pretty sweet. I'm even considering going to Taste of Gayos to see them, though I will probably decide not to, considering how terrible the Australian lineup is.

No Dredg, no Pelican, no Thrice and no Deftones wtf. The lineup is:

TAKING BACK SUNDAY

THURSDAY

ANTI-FLAG

UNDEROATH

SENSES FAIL

SAOSIN

PARKWAY DRIVE (AUS)

That's a pretty shoddy lineup, excluding Thursday and Underoath.

My thoughts exactly.

I was listening to this and I was surprised at just how good some of it was. Seriously, those two tracks stuck in the middle that are over 6 minutes are amazing and actually had me thinking I was listening to Isis for a bit there until the vocals kicked in. Thank god they shed the poppiness only lasted one album

Damn it I wanted to review this album .

It's so damn good, extremely different than They're Only Chasing Safety, and a lot heavier than the past two albums... still nothing nearly as epic as Cries Of The Past though :p.
