Its a thinly veiled attempt by a bunch of millennial wankers to win the approval of soccer dads the world over who grimace at our generation's failure to appreciate the "golden-era of rock'n'roll"

Hate to jump on the bandwagon but the singer literally sounds just like Plant. I saw them performing live in a video and he even imitates Robert Plant's movements on stage.
It's fine if that's what they were going for, but to never mention it or acknowledge it makes me dislike them quite a bit. The singer literally tried to claim that Aerosmith was his big influence for his style of clothing and his singing.

By far the best review of this album on Sputnik. Actually a fair assessment of the MUSIC, which is what this website is all about. The amount of 1-1.5 ratings is literally a joke. These guys may not be reinventing the wheel, but they're a band that plays old-school rock in the way of Zeppelin. A.K.A. a band with influences. Read the comments and the fact that this band isn't moving rock forward is practically the only excuse for giving the low ratings... But very few, if any, modern rock bands are moving the genre forward. Do they get 1-1.5 ratings? No. They get standard ratings. A couple of people initially gave this extremely low ratings and others followed.
The big ol' Sputnik circlejerk keeps on rolling.
For context, I've only heard 2 songs from this album and I thought they were pretty cool. Absolutely NOWHERE near a 1-1.5 though.
