Hahaha, yeah, have the same feeling.

They're old, the youthful angstyness they were going for in the early days makes me feel uncomfortable in their recent output. They should indeed try experimenting more.

Hm, so I just bought this one finally as well, just to complete the discography. They really ran out of ideas since a decade now. And I really wonder: Did they listen to Boom Boom Tap and thought: Yeah, this is really a great voice sample that I can listen to over and over? Really?? Oh well, maybe it´s just me.

This is certainly more refreshing than AONO and TDIME.

And I actually liked Boom Boom Tap. The fast-slow swings in that track are very dynamic, and the voice sample is so thick like resin you can literally feel it stretch.
