No lie I'd still love to see these guys live if I get the chance

Wtf are these ratings, papa roach has been mostly shit after infest but this album is a good comeback to their rap rock sound. There are songs on here clearly inspired by rage against the machine and beastie boys

"Who do you trust?"
Well, I can always trust Papa Roach to release audio bile to the masses

"papa roach has been mostly shit after infest but this album is a good comeback not just for the band but nu metal and music in general"
I strongly disagree. Infest isnt even close to being their best and I genuinely don't remember listening to this.

I almost wanna listen to this just to hate on it, but that sounds exhausting.

FEAR and Crooked Teeth were good comeback albums for the band. This is not.

I'd take The Connection over both, but both of those records had some good songs. I especially like the t/t of Crooked Teeth

This is one of the better mainstream rock bands of the last two decades.
|
| |
whoa. Haven't listened to them since '00s

"This is one of the better mainstream rock bands of the last two decades."
No way pal, papa roach have been making absolute trash music for almost 20 years now, their emo phase after infest/lovehate was unbearable. Mainstream bands like nickelback, avenged sevenfold, shinedown, foo fighters, 3 doors down etc have all made better music last 2 decades
|
| |
Crooked teeth was a step in the right direction but still a lot of the previous bad qualities/flaws. As for fear, absolute garbage, just as bad as their "emo" phase

This band isn’t even rock anymore, just full fledged synth pop. Did they fire the other instrument players or do they just stand around on stage waiting for the early songs to be played?

Album Rating: 3.5 | Sound Off
I admit that 4 is high, I think 3 is more appropriate.
I don't think he's a good PAPA ROACH album. Because they are now a world-renowned band, they already have their own label, if you look at this album with the previous label, I don't think it will be excellent.
Whatever how they change, the constant is their original feeling , high-quality melody, and some empathetic lyrics. They have been at the forefront of rock fashion.
This album also hasa lot of bad places:
Too pop, even some songs I have a hard time hearing the guitar sound. The worst part isn't everyone's disapproval of their bold experimentation. I think the worst part is that they make something so popular and commercial that it can be heavy and more rock. The quality of many songs is more about ambience and synthesizers. The band's heart begins to blur.
Obviously some great songs that could be the best new Nu-Metal in years or something that sounds good
, but they ruined the songs like: Not the only one and Elevate...
Overall I think this album is more like the B-side of PAPA ROACH, or Jacoby's solo album
Recommended songs: The Ending (The best song in album),WDTY, Better Than Life(One of the more successful experiments)

My favorite songs are Not The Only One and Feel Like Home.
Almost everyone hates the changes on this album, but I don't think so
Whether you think it's good or bad, I'll give it a 4. It's not perfect but I love this album
give 1???????? Do you have donkey hair in your ears
