“Put simply, the album is filled with certified banger after interrobanger”
Brb gonna delete the review and just leave this.
Thanks for the kind words y’all! Glad to see people enjoying this. It’s been a crazy year for punk, and this is the icing on the cake.

It's mad to me how FULL this album is. Solos, fills, ridiculous vocal turns. It's ridiculous how impassioned everything sounds.
The title track and Walk It Off are my faves, but the best moment on the whole record is the bit in "Numb" where he just solo screams "I'M FEEEEELING". It's such a perfectly judged and delivered two seconds, I will never forget the first time I heard it.

Yeah, there’s not a second of filler in this whole thing. “Walk it Off” has one of those moments for me Knott, each of the hushed “We are as we are taught” before the chorus get me each and every time. Such a great use of dynamics

"It's insanely consistent, which has been my issue with them before. I don't think I could pick a favorite song if I tried"
totally agree. all their other albums i had favourite songs. this just rules from start to finish. top album

I wish I liked the vocals. Everything else is super tight and fun, but I can't enjoy it fully.

vacancy is good though, its better than cult and especially walking wounded

stale formula but executed masterfully

I love when Bayside embraces the darkness. Need to listen through a few more times for a proper judgement of where it sits in their discography.

"stale formula but executed masterfully"
This exactly. Minus the lyrics, it borders on cock rock, but does it so well

Yeah, “fucking slaps” and “fun” have gotta be the best descriptors. Insanely good rock music that doesn’t have to be a guilty pleasure
