When my co-worker described this album to me as "a nu-metalcore band doing a concept album about a boy who killed his mom because his stuffed bear told him to" I thought it was going to be absolutely retarded, but this actually isn't too shabby. I enjoyed the instrumentals much more than the vox, and I don't care about the concept. I'm interested to hear the new album that's dropping tomorrow, and I hope it's shorter but equally as heavy as this.

I can't get into Telescope and The Impressionist much but man Shaken is the best song they've ever made. I hope I like the new album as much as this.

The concept's behind these albums are genius, especially in this timeframe. Having a dark story in the tracks and then posting a video explaining the lore would get all of the hyperfixiated people interested. I know several friends that will go on and on about video game lore and sends me memes on Instagram for weeks straight. It is very tiresome, but it's great company at least
