Thanks Intruder. Maybe you're right. But we will can never know that, as you know. But as I said. No regrets.

Intruder, I hope you didn't read me, since i'm not too optimistic. The comparisons with Anglagard are legit, but they are more melodic, rhythmic and consistently good, whereas All Traps on Earth lacks of life and color. That being said, it's not because it's lifeless that it's not great. I'm about to give it a 4...Pretty sure.

Even if I'm finding more cons than pros, album deserves a 4 rating. It's finally done.

Of course I read Jethro. But it seems you read my comment too putting you more optimistic in order to make you change your final rating.

Finally, I'm giving a stable 4 because of the attention I gave to the rhythm section, keys, mellotrons, trumpet, flutes, saxophones, horns, all the ''secondary'' instruments and their harmonies. Operatic vocals brings nice interplays and grace to the mix. There are clever arrangements throughout. It's quite dark, but it expresses that very well and there's a ray of hope. ''First Step'' is so beautiful. Track is not to listen when you're sad. Album is truly a grower.

''First Step'' is the best two minute song I've ever heard. Album is consistently great. It's dark, but a well done dark.

Yeah, First Step is a very beautiful song that is at the same time simple and complex. Anyway, the last track is probably my favourite. I think it brings to us the musical atmosphere of the all album. Somehow, it summarizes all the work. And it sounds to me the track closer to Anglagard's music. It's simply an astonishing track.

I agree ''First Step'' and the last one are the best ones on the album. Will you agree that the title track is the hardest to get into. it's overlong and falls a bit flat. Given it's the first track, it can be annoying for a new listener. That's why I suggested them to start with the second song onward, and finishing with the title track. It would be a better listening experience. The title track is all right for you and me, that's a fact.

Maybe you're right. This isn't an album easy to digest, especially for those who aren't familiar with Anglagard.

This record is so well balanced and orchestrated. The first 3 tracks are amazing.
