Listened to nothing to do and enjoyed it a lot more than Pensacola

Pensacola is pretty cool, but I feel like it'd work better as a standalone kind of thing, like GB/OL/H/NF and Subside. I get why he included it on the album though. Nothing To Do is so fucking good, been trying to figure out how to play it on guitar because it sounds fairly simple but my ear isn't good enough to figure that stuff out. But yeah, had this on repeat since it came out a week ago and still not sick of it.

What a year! A new Oso Oso release and a new Forests release in a month's time!! This feels like 2019 all over again.
That said, Basking in the Glow was my AOTY for 2019, Sore Thumb comes close but not quite, I really wish it was more polished.
Thanks for reviewing this, great job Jesper!

Met some friends at a random street fest in chicago and what do you know ... Oso Oso happened to be performing that night! Lots of energy and solid show. They seemed so young.

when I saw them live opening for The Menzingers the other month I swear I was like the only one jamming along to Real Stories and Yunahon songs. Felt like an old man. I haven't given this album too many proper listens yet but it isn't quite up to Yunahon and Basking so far for me.
