Then get it. I see it for half the price of your average album everywhere I go.

Great album definitely. Aside from the ones you highlighted as the best, I really love Bigmouth strikes again and Frankly Mr. Shankly...

Great stuff

I've heard some stuff from the smiths and I dnt know what the hell to think it's really confusing. That said I really like there is a light that never goes out. That said I alwys thought the smiths where a really british thing, I dnt think some americans really got where they where coming from the thatcher britain.

Musically it's all pretty standard pop. It belongs to the 80s, sure, but the music is pretty timeless and universal.

My least favourite song on here is "The Boy With The Thorn In His Side" (apart from "Vicar In A Tutu", which should be everyone's least favourite). My favourite is "Cemetry Gates".

I probably agree with that. I like all of the songs though, and can't really pick a favourite.

I like "Some Girls are Better Than Others" alot more than some people seem to. guitar and vocals are so great in that song, glad you gave it 5/5.

though i always thought of bigmouth as the centerpiece.

I absolutely love the Smiths and this album is incredible. Also, I believe it's "Some Girls are BIGGER Than Others." I laugh when I hear that song :p. Great review.
