theres a sweet overhaul for medieval 2 total war called insularis draco and it's all nw europe during the tail end of the 5th century. the period of king arthur, beowulf, atilla the hun, clovis the frank, flavius aetius the "last roman", saxons, thuringians, alemanni, burgundians, visigoths etc
if you like that king arthur time period its really shweet

Yeah I was thinking of playing Hexen next but I know they force the player to do a ton of backtracking and switch hunting which was the worst part of me playing Blood. But in Blood it was kept to a minimum.
