I replied. 'Twas a fine review on a great band.
|

Hey, I replied too. I'm a bit surprised only a few people in here know them..
|
| |
Happy, IM me at whothenow and I'll send you that Portrait song.
|
| |
Wait, I don't have an MSN or AIM account yet, I'll reg later, promise
|
| |
Argh, I'm having problems installing AIM, I'll just do it when I come home from the doctor's after school..
|
| |
Haha, ok. I don't take it you have Soulseek either?
|
| |
I have soulseek. Just got it a few weeks ago.:p I have AIM, finally(yay), my screen name's mybananaguts. Urgh.. I find it a little confusing compared to YM. Ok, gotta sleep!

I'm sorry, but you said they're not the next Omar Rodriguez. These guys are much better than ATDI and also, Thomas does the lead vocals. [sigh] I thought they would stay local legends. Thank you the internet [sarcasm]
|
| |
Fixed! Sorry 'bout that. I'm not comparing them to At The Drive-In as a band vs. band thing, I'm just saying they sound a bit like ATDI to give people an idea. I don't think I want to do that, they are both great, IMO, in their own right. Local legends? Heck, I heard of them from my friend back in the Philippines for gosh sakes. What's so wrong with them getting more recognition? They certainly deserve it..

I really expect big things from this band. I bought the demo not so long ago and have just ordered the album. I'm now trying to get more people into them here in the wonderful UK...
|
| |
Sound intriguresting. I'll add them to The Download List.

I've only heard I Just Got This Symphony Going', but it's an awesome song. I've been hearing more and more about these guys lately, they deserve to break out. I'd love to see them live, where are they from?
No prob.
*out of topic* In your review of Trophy Scars' EP you said they were post-hardcore, but you ended up including them in the list in the emo/screamo thread. What's with that?
I notice that TFoT's variety and effort to be original is definitely a make or break for them, but that's how I liked them in the first place. Ok, so I overrated them, sorry about that.:p
Umm. Post-hardcore and emo overlap in so many way. I just chose post-hardcore to simplify everything.
