It was about time I finally checked out a whole album by this band. I always loved their sometimes crazy songs like The Reflex (single version) and others.
what's always great is when the bass guitar plays an important role (It's what I love in post-punk music by the way), like it does on this album. Always nice when new wave music can be electronic with good use of rock instruments (and maybe saxophone sometimes).
Also I for myself like track by track reviews, or at least reviews where at least a little bit is written about every song on the album.

Production on this is ahead of its time

Agreed
Though the production on Songs from the Big Chair accomplishes what this one tried to even better imo
