@sixtyten:
Sorry to hear that you haven't realized that there is no such thing as "superior taste". That's flat out bullcrap. It would be the same as saying "my opinion is better than yours".
I liked the album a lot, they really stepped up there game especially in the drumming and guitar work which sounded the same in EVERY song on the sweet revenge album. It drove me crazy a lot of times.
Some awesome songs (Dead!, Sharpest lives, mama, last words, I dissapear) and a few bad ones (cancer, disenchated) but overall very entertaining.
What really left me angry was the fact that they considered "cancer" the darkest song ever. That's a load of crap.
I think the most unique and entertaining song was "Teenagers". Now that was really cool.

Dammit I enjoyed Welcome to the Black Parade, but I also liked I'm Not OK, and TCFSR turned out to be balls, and I'm really not expecting this to be any more.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION all you self proclaimed "hxc" kids who somehow feel that the world and the media is against everything you love maybe you should wake up and realize MCR is in no way "indie" or "hardcore" or anything really it's just a bunch of kids banging on drums and singing as bad as they can.

sixtyten listens from what I've seen on his profile to pure Black & Death Metal. There is no way he was being sarcastic. And what was up with the retard comment? That's plain unnessecary.
@ShaqAttack: Who in the world said that they were indie or hardcore? That's like saying HIM is black metal. And I guess you think that listening to Bright Eyes makes you high and mighty, ha? Gerard Way is a fairly good singer and screamer btw and improves a lot.

I bet the people who rated this below a 2 don't even have the CD.
Seriously, if all you ever do is diss mainstream bands, you obviously have nothing better to do.

Great work. What I've heard from this album, while being an improvement from their old stuff, is still bad.

This band should try to be happy.

To tell you the truth, your review wasn't as spectacular as your others. You should listen to the album a bit more in my opinion, but keep in mind I've never heard it.

Rating something below a 2 usually means you have absolute distaste for the artist moreso the album. There are very few albums I've rated a 1 or 1.5 that come from an artist I normally enjoy.

you fucking fascist. you've always had it in for them!
but seriously MCR is out of my jurisdiction, so I won't comment either on this album. Another great review though.
You should try to know what you're talking about.
Yeah, but I don't really care that much. I'm just saying, if they made an album chock full of positive moral values and telling kids to be happy and such, this little "emo" culture we see at high school would probably disappear. They have the power.
