Does anyone know who the female fronted band was that opened for them on the tour for this album in second half of 2013 with Balance and Composure and I the Mighty?

Anybody know of any other "concept bands" like CC, Dear Hunter, and the Protomen?

Like bands whose discography is all part of a larger story rather than every album being a different concept.

Defeater and idk, Trophy Scars are probably more fun if you pretend that's the case

I'll check out Defeater! Thanks!

I really love these concept bands. It's like listening to a book, but instead of narration it's music and told over multiple albums.

I've never actually heard a single Defeater song lol, but the narrative is real!

Anathema - A Fine Day to Exit + The Optimist are technically part of the same story, and Bambara - Stray is basically a whole series of overlapping narratives even though it's just one album

Cool I'll check em out.

I'm specifically looking for bands where they overarch like CC and Dear Hunter but any concept album is worth listening to as well.

Number City is one of the only songs worth listening to here. Studio and live versions slap.
