Eve is their most uneven album but also one of their best

Whadaya mean un even? I see this record as cohesive. Emery does a good job of taking us through a journey.

uneven mostly in that it's kinda all over the place stylistically and has some rough moments (the infamously awful scream in Jesus Wept). It's thematically cohesive but musically a little scatterbrained.
that said the high points are absurdly high so this is still, on average, a 4.5

The scream in Jesus Wept are meant as background noise. Nothing offensive there. Let the 5 flow through you.

This is so much better coming back to it now. Great album! 2007 Clarksville High is one of the best songs these guys have ever produced, hits so hard.

I can’t believe White Line Fever didn’t get reviewed and Rub Some Dirt On It has been out for 2 months and isn’t even in the database. The new album is a top 6 album of theirs. Better than I’m Only A Man, White Line Fever, and We Do What We Want.
