Weird vocals def bring this band down and I’m not sorry for saying that.

I guess I would say the same for BCNR - vocals are strange with this band but they’ve grown on me.
Just got a ticket to watch BM play my hometown, I think I actually sold my buddy on this band by sending him links to the track ‘Welcome to Hell’ all week - pretty good deal, ticket and CD for £16 no less

ngl Of Schlagenheim and Bmbmbm are among the best songs pairings ever. They rip so unbelievably hard. Easily the best songs on this album.

Nah, Of Schlagenheim slaps hard.

This is their only album I really like, but this is a lot of fun. Their other LPs are overthought, especially Cavalcade sounds like a wanking contest.

Idk, I prefer their next albums to this. But the jazz fusion/prog style is more my cup of tea than noise rock.

You're right, it probably boils down to this distinction, the math/prog vibes on Schlagenheim are barely within my comfort zone.

Yeah I am a big Mr. Bungle fan so the direction they are going is perfect for my taste.

Mr. Bungle is on my list for March, I need to stretch my boundaries at times.

I was suggested California in another thread.

Yeah, that is definitely the best one to start with. It is arguably their best and definitely their most accessible (not saying much but still).
