Well this was pretty generic.

This was a fun listen......they have a real nice sense of melodic intensity. It actually makes the screaming parts much more intense.

This is excellent, been looking all over for some good melodic band with female vocals.

To say this album is a lot better than its predecessor, is a huge understatement.

New video is annoying, obviously just exploiting the singer's hotness

They've been exploiting her hotness since they formed. Still cant believe her kid is 4 years younger than me. Album is kind of meh, too much auto tune and overly processed.

Metal-heads may be pissed at In This Moment’s 2nd LP ‘The Dream’, but the LA quintet’s bold transformation to hard-rock commercial accessibility is anything but selling out. Gone are the generic metalcore chugging & Maria Brink’s awful screaming, in their place a plethora of hard-hitting riffs & melodic vocal hooks. Huge & anthemic arena-rock choruses are fun, well-performed & excellently produced by Mutt Lange sidekick Kevin Churko. There is simply no filler evident… They even pull off a piano & strings ballad in ‘Into The Light’! Who would have ever thought? Recommended Tracks: Forever, Lost At Sea, Into The Light & Violet Skies.

I don't understand how this album got a higher score than beautiful tragedy. Best true scream I have ever heard in metal came
from that album. All other screams IMO are misleading. Screams are the stuff that little kids make. Stuff that some adult
woman can do. Guys cant scream. They can growl, shout, and distort their vocals, but not scream. She screams in Beautiful
Tragedy and thats kick ass. This album is just mediocre. :/
