I don't really see this album as B-sides, more that they recorded this and Reise Reise at the same time and compiled the two albums into ones which would flow best together. Reise Reiser took the more outright heavy tracks and Rosenrot took the more solemn and atmospheric tracks with a less heavy, yet darker overall feel to them.

I also do think Rammstein's sound has changed considerably over time but, as happens with a lot of bands (see DevilDriver for instance, or Korn), no matter what happens instrumentally the band will always sound like their other material purely because of the vocalist and his/her vocal style on that band's albums. Till Lindeman, unlike Dez Fafara though, uses the same style in every band he plays in. his solo album could so easily have been a Rammstein album purely because of his vocals, even if Peter Tatgren's music is a departure from the more typical Rammstein sound.

I always loved Hilf Mir due to the "Struwwelpeter" reference, very fitting and a very dark track for sure.

Hilf Mir easily is the best track in this album.

Spring is so damn good. The usage of the choir just MAKES it.

I like it because it acknowledges the inner voice that says DO IT when someone threatens with suicide.

Yeah Spring is pretty damn good track too. Honestly Eine Leid is one of the weak tracks for me
