This is a cursed album that people often consider weak but I'd take it over the two that came after (which still have various great songs to offer). Love how it's BT at their gloomiest but at the same time it's still chockful of bangers too, plus I dig the quantity of little guitar solos throughout and how pronounced the bass is even for their already bass-happy standards. It's got a couple minor songs, but I think it's a neat record. White Sparrows, The Dead Can't Testify and Saint Veronika are three of my very fav BT songs in general.
Don't Need to Pretend from the bonus tracks rocks too, some of their catchiest vocal harmonies in the pre-chorus.
Cautiously optimistic for the new album anyway

These guys started by making two phenomenal albums, everything after that has been dross.
If anything good comes from this new album, it’ll be that asleep is going to give us a tasty review

Oh yeah that one was included in the "chockful of bangers" part, together with Turn Your Back, Pocketful of Dreams, Definition of Destiny, etc. Rusted from the Rain is not a favorite but the second half with the guitar bridge and that little evil-y riff near the end makes it still memorable. Sudden Movements probably my least favorite but it grew on me over time after I realized that I can actually dig how slow it is. I'm really fond of this album for what it is lol

yeah maybe i payed attention now lol
but i also feel the vocals here are more up-front
but on another note, this album really isn't that much more low key than their other records.
