I would piratesquid but the more I think about and read my review it does read in the 2.5 range and while I would like to add more positives I can't for the life of me think of anymore really

You can mention that it does add the diversity of Southern Rock and that through the breakdowns plenty of the riffs can be considered somewhat original and pretty durn catchy ;-;

Still man, don't let people push you into a rating if you feel strongly about your current rating, no matter how bad the band's rep is.

| |
Yeah I guess you guys are right just because I can't think of
more reasons doesn't mean I shouldn't keep it at it's original rating
|
| |
some people should lighten up, this is fun stuff and even if you think it's really generic if you only played 1 maybe two songs off it in a row and work your way through the cd, you might like it more because it kinda does all blend if you listen to it all at once

A decent album. I don't want to praise it or knock it really. It at least shows that the band has potential, and I'll be interested to see how they develop (assuming they do, because that's what I said about Attack Attack! as well).
Also, contrary to what it says below this, I'm not digging AA!'s album at the moment. Just figured I'd mention that I'd moved on. Hehe.

Then why are you digging it?

"A guy goes nuts if he ain't got nobody. Don't make no difference who the guy is, long's he's with you. I tell ya, I tell ya," he cried, "I tell ya a guy gets lonely, an' he gets sick."

Can I not enjoy an album if it's only decent? That just means I won't be digging it for very long at all. Haha.

Bloc - Don't go into it expecting anything revolutionary, because there isn't anything like that here. If you're just looking for a fun listen you'll be much more satisfied.

Take it up with the meds, atrink.
Haha shortone, I know I know. I heard the first song on their myspace and I was a bit impressed with how fun the song was so I might as well check the rest out.

Haha I didn't mean to sound commanding or anything, just trying to help you make the most out of this album. But yea, everything is pretty good. I'm not too sure if there are really any standout songs that I'm gonna listen to over and over again, but I definitely would not mind any of them coming up during shuffle.
And I think I'm gonna see them in May with The Color Morale, The Bled and In Fear and Faith and that should be fun.

I hear ya, and I have the exact same feeling; when it comes to albums like this I am bound to keep a couple tracks and toss em on my Ipod.
Those 4 bands sound like a damn good time.

Saw those dudes with Memphis May Fire, Greeley Estates, and The Chariot.
Inhale Exhale was there too, but they sucked.

Bloc - Yea I have to get back in the habit of doing that. Or get myself a bigger iPod. And yea I'm pumped even though it's like 2-3 months away.
Pirate - Sounds like a pretty good show. How was The Color Morale live, specifically their vocalist. Guy sounds beast on recording, I can only hope he'll be that good live. And not that big of a surprise about Inhale Exhale haha. Really haven't put out anything too good on recording, so even if they were amazing live, it would still just be okay.

Yeah, The Color Morale was actually pretty good live. The lead singer was a cutie, so it was awesome that he was touching all of the crowd members and stuff. He sounds really good live too.
The Chariot sounded alright live, but they seriously put on one of the best fucking shows I've seen in years. The bassist was hanging upside down from the rafters and screaming after jumping all over the stage, then at the closer they took apart the drums and were beating it individually along with a chorus in the background.
Awesome stuff.
