Weekend Wars is kickin major ass, heh.

I like how they decided not to ride the Kids-train and do what they really enjoy doing. Makes them even more likeable for me.

fantastic review, sums up almost exactly how I feel about this. I liked the last record because of the standout tracks/singles, and didn't give a shit about most of the last half. This just stripped those redeeming qualities away, for me at least.

This is an awesome review, and I agree with it word for word.

The art makes me want to kill myself. Reminds me of Bubsy the Bobcat.

Honestly, this album is getting way too much hate. "It's Working", "Flash Delirium," "Song For Dan Treacy," and "Brian Eno" are amazing. But the album definetly loses a lot of steam at "Lady Dada's Nightmare."

Awesome review, but I never really cared for their first one minus the hits (mainly 'cause it was played on the radio so much I had to enjoy them) but if this one isn't like the first, I'll probably give it a spin out of curiousity

For people who liked Of Moon, Birds and Monsters, and songs alike , there is definetly something in this album for them, if they were here for Kids, get away.

I was a sucker for the catchiness of Oracular Spectacular. Without any really here I got nothing out of it.

terrible, like the first one. it's the same exact album but without mainstream-savvy hooks.

Wasn't a big fan of their first and I kinda see this in the same boat. Different tune, same end result.

Just sayin i dont post on this site much, but seriously why so much hate towards this album?

Seriously, if you bother to listen to it, more than once, it grows on you, and apart from a few average tracks, most of the songs are solid/catchy tunes.
