After going through and listening to all the songs again, I realized The Sky Under The Sea is a bit more like their older stuff. Maybe it's no coincidence that the first 4 tracks and the last track are the best songs on the record: Like maybe Vic made a point to work on the last song first, and then go back and work on the whole album, which would explain why both the beginning of the record and the last song have so much more energy... I know my least favorite part of the album is tracks 5 through 9.
