@scottpilgrim: Just remember that it's silly. Trying to take it seriously will ruin the album for you.
|
| |
Alright I'll try to keep a silly mindset, but 1 of my favorites so far is It's Gonna Be (Alright), and that's serious at least when compared to the rest of the tracks. I'm only on my first listen though, so I can't really judge the album too much.

Yeah. It's Gonna Be (Alright) is about Dean Ween's marriage ending. Their albums tend to have 1 to 2 serious songs, and then the rest are ridiculous.
But yeah a silly mindset is needed for Ween.

Is Dean Ween his birthname?
|
| |
There's a slight chance this is incorrect but its possible
It's Gonna Be (Alright) and Tool's Stink Fist
were written about the same topic

Buckingham Green is just epic. There are no words to describe just how bodacious that track is.

"Is Dean Ween his birthname?"
No, Dean Ween is Michael Melchiondo.
Gene Ween is Aaron Freeman.
