I dislike the beatniks. Though I haven't read Kerouac

keelan you simply must
on the road is incredible

Never really been able to get into these guys. I'm not a huge fan of the electronic sound, I guess.
|
| |
And here's hoping you stick around, Adam. Might not mean much at this point, but I really enjoy reading your reviews.
|

on the road is pretty good but yeah i dunno
|

see from what I've actually read from Kerouac, which is little, I think it's utter shite, but I mean that's out of context so I should give it a full read.
But I mean Ginsberg just reeks of bullshit

Owl City always sounds more Savage Gardenish than this. Can't remember if I commented already but great review. I like this but rarely listen to it.

I remember when you were Strikey. The first time I saw that name pop up was when I wrote a review for Beggars basically calling it average, and you disagreed but were really cool about it.
Yeah though this is an awesome, top-level review and it might interest you to know that after my "fuck the postal service" comment in that one list I gave this another listen and bumped up its rating.

Sowing every time you post I just look at your avatar so I have no idea what you just said.

"I realize why everyone says Owl City kind of bastardized their sound though...."
I don't dislike Owl City for that, hell Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello put out a great album and said there... and they looked at it and walked away leaving a big hole never to return and help fill it.
The problem with Owl City IMO is that it isn't as good and that the lyrics and subject matter are just juvenile.
|
| |
@omni: If by juvenile you mean absolute shit. I've seen better lyrics in my alphabits.
These guys definitely have redeeming qualities. I could see myself liking them, I think I just haven't ever seasoned my self to the electronic sounding stuff.
And I remember when you were Strikey, Knott.

ha ha. Yeah. I didn't think you were talking at me, but I just thought I'd check. I was like "how the fuck do you know my name..." ha ha.

Lol, that must have been terrifying. Particularly as it's not so common a name.
|
| |
Yeah. Strange coincidence. haha. Mostly I was trying to think up possible scenarios in which I would've told you my name. I don't think we've ever really conversed in depth at all.
