I love how hardcore Linkin Park fans think people hate this album because of the synths, but the songwriting is awful with a capital A.

I actually find their first three albums to be horrible. Fanboyism? That was a hilarious term considering this is their first album that I ever enjoyed.
I always criticized this band for writing poor lyrics, having bland instrumentals, and their rap/rock formula that never seemed to changed throughout their first two albums. This time they changed things up a bit, and to my likings.

Sadly, this guy isn't the first to. I was reading up on this album earlier, and many have compared this to Kid A and DSotM. I STILL do not see any similarities.. Plus, why do you compare such musical achievements such as those to garbage such as this album?

This album rocked. I was engaged throughout the entire thing, and aside from a lack of focus, not creativity, in some spots, it's great stuff. I wouldn't compared to Dark Side of The Moon or Kid A though; That's...a misstep on your part.
