The industrial-ish songs near the end of this are awesome. Didn't read the review, have a pos.

Actually I already do Irving myself, but I have a feeling that I just don't have the talent (yet?) to bring my writing up to a higher level. This problem seems to go away a little each time I'm writing about Disney. Which is bizarre.

Yeah but everything looks like gold until you get 'someone else' to read over it.

Don't worry about the recommended tracks thing, but probably change it to "Highlights" or "My Favorite Songs".
I know from personal experience back in my lurking days that I always loved it when the reviewer included their favorites because those were the songs I looked up first to see if I was interested.

That's what i put them there for, like if i read someones review of a band i havent heard of before i will know where to start. Then from those you can find out whether you like tracks/albums. I thought others might benefit from the same setup.
Irving, what were those you didn't mention? Feel free. I won't cry... much.

I think Irving dislikes 'highlights' sections
I know he don't like pro/con lists at the end
I personally think Favorite Songs parts are awesome too, even if they were mentioned in the review

I don't do the pros/cons section at the end of my review, as far as im concerned if the're worth mentioning at the end of the review they deserve to be incorporated fully into the review itself rather than an after thought.

that's pretty much what Irving said lol
I do think they help for certain people, because people like me have a hard time understanding things without seeing the big picture first. the pros/cons gives you the general idea of what the review's all about, so people like me can go back and read it and piece shit together until their pros and cons make sense.
I do think they aren't professional though

I have a minor problem with these. On one hand, such pros and cons should be amply discussed in the review itself. On the other, it can function similarly to a highlights section in that it gives you quick and concise information. I know that I've simply skipped reading a review once I saw the pros and cons section.

They're a bit of a cop out i think.
And Dino makes an appearance, havent see you since ...my last review lol.
Suds, you do make a fair point.

This. Mainly because I feel those are things I should be able to suss out from the album review as a whole.
That being said, my word is not law haha.
