the biggest thing that struck me when I saw them do that show was how visibly happy stephen christian appeared to be there. like he really appreciated the like 100 or so people that were there, like he really missed playing with so few people watching. when I shook his hand I told him that I loved their music and he gave the most genuine thank you ever, like what I said really meant a lot to him.

I understand what you mean, I don't think all the tracks are perfect. But for me an album's quality isn't measured per song, it is measured by its overall effect. And Cities is brilliant.

Idk, my rating system is rather spastic. Some albums I will rate highly because of a few songs, and others because the whole thing works well as an album. My rating system is altogether too arbitrary, but thankfully it doesn't really matter.

Yeah Emim I'm the same way. I think either way, whether its by individual songs or by the general feeling I get from the album, it determines the album's overall effect on me.

This is a combination of great songs and the emotional pull of Unwinding Cable Car, Inevitable, and Fin (also great songs themselves)

I just love pretty much every song (except Hello Alone which is just decent) and can easily listen to

this start to finish without getting bored ever. That's an easy 5 for me.
