Is this album unintentionally funny enough to be worth listening to?

I highly doubt they locked themselves in a room without "Pro Tools". Pro Tools is just recording software. Really good recording software. Unless they happened to record the last album analog or recorded it using some other software and made a point of it, I'm sure they used Pro Tools. What you mean is that they did not autotune or use a lot of digital tricks.
Sorry, petpeeve, I'm a sound engineer in training, and I just get tired of "Pro Tools" being confused for something other than recording software.

Hm, I've been using Reason 4 with Pro Tools 7 forever now, planning to upgrade to Reason 6, which (finally) includes proper support
for audio samples. Is it worth it to upgrade my Pro Tools as well, or can I just do without? The MBox is no longer necessary for my
peripherals to work...

I live in Australia and honestly I'm worried about the fallout. Bomb the French instead.

you dont make critics like this.
'the Path Of Totality is a truly horrible album' ?! what now, this is not a critic man. choose some other phrases to describe, be not a terrorist, a writer only.

The album has alot of issues but i highly doubt that it deserves the rating (which we all know the real reason for it) but saying that, it's definitely not in my top 10 this year... i hope things go back to normal for the next record though.

Ironic that you talk about how to write when your english is so OBVIOUSLY polished.

No, it's not a criticism it's an opinion

It deserves whatever rating I think it deserves, and like I said earlier it makes no difference what genre this ended up being apart of - I think it would be terrible either way

This was a great read Dev and will most probably be the last review for this that I'll read. I just don't care about what Korn does these days.

Personally I've never been impressed with them apart from my brief nu-metal days in middle school. You begin to realize that there really isn't any substance to Korn apart from badly articulated adolescent rage.

Either way? so you're saying your mind was made up from the start regardless?
Out of curiosity, what did you think of 'Korn III'?

Didn't mind the song 'Get Up', thought it brought something new to the table. The other one or two songs I heard were pretty repetitive though. I'll probably pick this up out of curiosity.

I just checked out the first few songs and it's not bad. Really it just sounds like a decent remix album. Most of the real hate that I've seen seems to be coming from Dubsteppers that somehow believe that their genre is sacred and shouldn't be fucked with and people that believe that they can't grow up & expand their musical tastes and still appreciate a decent nu metal album.

I got into Korn right around the time "Rember Who You Are" was released. So I find it really easy to appreciate all of their albums. I will always like their old 90's stuff the most, but i also really like these new attempts.

I've never seen so many "Featuring..." on one album. Even a hip-hop album has less.
