Yeah, same to me. A move into some supremely impressive technical territory.

^^^Yeah, Nightmares owned so hard but Ruin was still brilliant. Took a long time to grow on me though.

I have it now. I've only listened to the first couple of tracks, but I really like it. I need to give it a full listen in the near future.

it's definitely one of those that benefits from a full listen-through of the whole album. which is kinda unusual for a metalcore album, but still. hope you enjoy it!

this album's pretty excellent imo

JT and Architects are my two favourite modern metalcore bands by a mile.

Cant wait for the new album either, Death Rides is good. More hardcore but with some nicer technical parts.

I find it amusing that Architects' first album was influenced by this album and now Johnny Truant's new album is influenced by Architects' second album "Ruin".

Hopefully all tracks aren't like Death Rides, I like the song but don't want the whole album to be more hardcore orientated.

Only over a month before its out.

Death Ride is just the one song though, new album is called "No Tears For The Creatures". And I think it can match it and probably surpass it

I suppose the reason Architects' first album was influenced by this album and now Johnny Truant's new album is influenced by Architects' Ruin is prolly due to the band's being mates.

Plus theres more of a general metalcore sound being created in and around brighton. JT, architects and Centurion are good examples of it.
