Yeah how they sounded on recording and live really wasn't that big of a difference, except they packed a bigger punch live and maybe some what more muffled vocals at times.

Those 2 discrepancies are to be expected to some extent with a band like this. Did they have anyone else out there with them?

YEah a band called Wallace Vanborn that I unfortunately missed since I forgot my id at home and had to drive back and forth to get it. From listen to them on youtube they seem alright. Albeit I think they'd be more fun to see live.

No, no... I didn't mean what support act they had. I meant: Did Blood Red Shoes have any other musicians out there with them?

I'm surprised & impressed. Maybe those muffled vocals is just a matter of feeling like they have just run a marathon.

By muffled I simply meant they weren't coming though as clean as on the record since the they sorta got over powered at times by their instruments. And like you say, it's probably slightly more challenging singing and rocking out. But yeah overall I was impressed by how good they sounded.
Also seeing them playing with flashing strobe lights, can't remember which song it was when it happened but it, was awesome.

I think the title track was the one to grow on me most from this album. Could be a bit of an under-rated gem.

I love this. It's so freakin' catchy.

It could be catchier though. If you really want a "catchy" similar band, then there is always The Subways. Yet, I don't think they'd be entirely for you Greg.
