Why not just go look for it yourself and stop using this website as a dumping ground for your dumb, uninformed opinions and "facts?"

None taken Chuck. But you know, for a guy who is knicknamed The Pit and infamous for his arguments, I expected better than this, but life is full of letdowns I guess.

For someone named TylerOnFire, I was expecting someone who actually knew how to spell the past tense of "say."

Haha careful Tyler, seemingly Pit's entire life is devoted to driving people he doesn't like off this site. And he's been successful on more than 1 account.

He won't drive me off the site. And you know what "Pit", I'm gunna go listen to the mainstream shit that I enjoy and have a
good time doing it. And you can waste your time being a loser hiding behind a fucking computer getting into retarded
arguments while you bask in the "glory" that you get from it. You fucking pussy. I'm going to bed, goodnight.

post more links of real hardcore, we're all very interested

Nah, it bores me. Plus, baiting me into an argument that you don't care about doesn't seem worth it to me.

I know some "hardcore kids" in my city that keep saying Parkway Drive, The Ghost Inside and Terror are the gods of hardcore

some dude once told me that; hardcore and hardcore punk are different genres, black flag sucks, bad brains are just famous because they are a bunch of niggers playing hardcore and reggea.

I'm struggling to see how this band can't be considered new school hardcore, The metal riffs and style just arent there. I personally think calling this band metal core is a stretch. you can't sit there and say that because some bands have borrowed elements of metal, guitar tone, double bass.... or whatever element it might be, automatically bans them from being a hardcore band. no different than Slayer being miles apart from black sabbath doesn't mean slayer is not a metal band. not to mention, Hatred Surge? Iron Lung? are easily as far removed stylistically from Minor threat, black flag, as the Ghost Inside is... And just because you name dropped bands who are so far "underground" that pretty much nobody has heard of them doesn't make you any more "hardcore" then anyone else.

This is fantastic. These guys have never disappointed me, the addition of the cleans adds something different and adds to their already brilliant sound.
|
| |
fucking how, every metalcore band ends up doing it when they "progress"
|
| |
^ This, lol.
Sick of bands adding bullshit clean vocals to "evolve" their sound. I don't really mind them on this album, but I feel like it's a lazy way to try to sound different than previous album(s).

It's pathetic, why brand the music a certain genre?! Let the music speak for itself under The Ghost Inside rather than HARDCORE or METALCORE.
