need we go round in circles? i probably already slagged off AIV, AIB enough on that album's convo thread. it's just songs based around same-sounding guitar melodies repeating themselves over and over with some key changes here and there. it's like a high schooler's attempt at making reanimation by lights & motion :P



edit: in fact. better comparison -- AIV, AIB sounds like a band's attempt at making 10 different cover versions of mogwai's "hunted by a freak"

but they don't keep re-using similar melodies at all, that's just 100% untrue



every track is actually very different in terms of atmosphere (perhaps not structure but it's a crescendo-core post-rock album, which i agree is a bit distracting, yeah)
