This albums pretty damn good, some of you sound like comic book guy... "worst album ever" Get over it. P.O.S. is hip hop that tends to cater to white boys like me that love music and think hip-hop is a generic and lazy copycat genre. He is one of the few that actually breaks that mold with both his beats and lyricism. I'd say for any hip-hop album to be solid the entire way through is a pretty rare feat. I hope the bleepity-bloopity beats that take over the second half of the album are more of a mockery of what passes for beats nowadays, at least I'd like to believe that seeing as P.O.S. and Lazerbeak have put out some of the most innovative hip hop the last 7 years or so.

Yeah this is good. He's still got it, far as I'm concerned. I like the electronic beats. Sometimes when a rapper stops trying to "prove" he's SO AWESOME he makes better music. I think this is one of those times.
now I'm just waiting for that new Cecil Otter album...

Talented Minneapolis rapper P.O.S impressively continues to evolve & show his versatility on 4th LP 'We Don't Even Live Here'. Instilling his original fusion of punky hip-hop with much more glitchy electronica, the undoubtedly complex song structures & production are brilliantly efficient. Witty, thoughtful lyrics are delivered with the tense aggressive edge of his rapid - yet crystal-clear - vocal flow, which is always passionate & engrossing. Strangely reminiscent of mid-90’s hip-hop, the balance achieved here is borderline genius, meaning that there should be something for everyone. Recommended Tracks: Wanted Wasted, Fuck Your Stuff, Bumper & Piano Hits.

this is the kind of comment that gives all indie rap fans a bad rep. could not sound more ignorant, I'm sorry.

I don't get why people say there is "so much shit in genre XY" but don't show any effort to actually find something good.

It took 2 weeks to get that comment hated on!? What did you all get lives or something? Still stand by my ignorant comment, still think this album is good. Although, Ignatius Reilly is probably more accurate than comic book guy, sorry about that one.

Listen to the rest of his records first. Older fans of his usually prefer Audition which is a good place to start because it's accessible (second most accessible compared to this).
