i like the bit where he characterized the royal scythians as silly stoner cannibals that vape weed by plonking the stuff on hot rocks and frolicking about like half boiled frogs. also i love how everyone assumed he lied about the persians cutting through a whole greek peninsula with a canal, which has now been proven to be true (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xerxes_Canal).

also his claim about the tin islands (britian) being a myth made me chuckle. and i love how becuz of chinese whispers through translators he propagated a myth about upper siberia being covered in feathers
