Is this album about Kim?
Burn.
|
| |
If you read all the lyrics...yeah I guess it is about me. And every other person who really knows the love of Christ.
I don't take that as a burn, it's actually a compliment.

I don't know about the rest of this album but the song Jesus Freak is absolutely cringe worthy. Anyone that thinks otherwise must be looking at at it through nostalgia goggles. I'm not saying that because it's Christian, there are plenty of songs with Christian messages that are done very well, this song is just embarrassing to listen to.

Exactly what Zanders said.
Also, I hate it when Christian music is put on a "not bad" pedestal, i.e. "Hey, this Christian band sounds like that really great secular band only much worse but at least they're Christian so I can listen to them and think they're awesome - not bad for Christian music!" as if your faith dictates how good of music you're allowed to make. Fuck me.
|
| |
who really knows the love of Christ
Lol.
|
| |
You can fuck off too. Kimm's impertinence doesn't veto an entire group of people.
|
| |
Bands like this aren't needed, there are many great rock bands with Christian members that put their religious influence in their lyrics. D.C Talk were a bad gimmick.
|
| |
What Would Jesus Do?
Tell you to fuck off that's what he'd do!
|
| |
"Kimm's impertinence doesn't veto an entire group of people."
What?
|
| |
I veto groups however I want, thanks.
|
| |
I'm not Jesus.
Kimm, do you not reckon your agressive wishy-washy evangelism is a bit tacky for a website that doesn't have an ear for Christianity in any which way? I'm sure evangelising is well easy somewhere where people might actually be inclined to listen (i.e. not the internet).
