Welsh rockers Future of the Left refine their distinctively abrasive melodies on 4th LP 'How To Stop Your Brain In An Accident'. Predominantly dropping the synth overload of its predecessor for a more guitar-driven sound, the quartet continue to daringly push the limits of their diversity (for better or worse). For such a relentless & aggressive style, it's a fun listen, with Andy Falkous' wry, acerbic lyrics capturing attention. At 45 minutes, it's not necessarily overlong... But it's also no coincidence that their best LP was their shortest. Recommended Tracks: Donny of The Decks, Future Child Enbarrassment Matrix, Johnny Borrell Afterlife & The Male Gaze.

This band doesn't seem to be too concerned with anything outside of kicking ass. This is so fucking good so far.

I totally agree with both of your statements. The best music made by bipeds. Human Death EP is also worth checking out.
