Who You Are is a great tune.

I don't Think this is that inaccessible at all and "Vitalogy" is a lot more inconsistent, even though it has some of their best songs on it.
|
| |
Yeah definitely, a big departure from their previous style maybe but not inaccessible. This is excellent but personally Vitalogy isn't inconsistent at all, probably my fave PJ album actually.

It does have some great songs on it but there's also crap like "Aye Davinata", which I Think is alot more inaccessible than any thing on this album. Calling it a lot more inconsistent may be going a Little too far, though.

I prefer this over Vitalogy. Obviously some great tracks on that album as well though.

About time this got another bump, this is amazing stuff.

This and 'vitalogy' are pretty different than 'ten', damn even 'vs' is much more diverse itself. So i guess giving those albums a spin wouldn't hurt, they all have much better production so there's that.

Great record, some kickass tracks on here but compared to the previous albums some tunes can sound a bit dull and even a bit uninspired... Habit and Lukin are badass tracks, love that dirty singing style. Suits Eddie quite well m/

"If I don't like Ten would their other stuff like Vitalogy be worth my time?"
I'd take the run of Vitalogy -> Yield over Ten so ya try it out

Sounds sweet bro, thx for the tip. Will def check. This one will settle down at a straight 4 probably. Rulez pretty much.

No problem buddy, and yeah this is a hard 4 for me too easily. Have you heard yield yet, bro?

Nope, but it's on my to-do-list. Will tackle it soon and I'm really looking forward to it. Pearl Jam went under my radar for so long and I can't even tell you how this could happen tbh. Great band.

Yeah bubsy, both are overlooked / underrated hard too i should say.

Yeah, it's a lot of fun to dig into their discog and there's still so much to discover. It's awesome if you get into a band that already has a comprehensive catalog and you can experience their development which took place over 20 or more years in just a mere fraction of that time :]
|
| |
Ahah yeah, it really is an awesome thing. Even better is a case like this, where the band in question has an established discography and is still going, touring and putting out new stuff.

Absolutely, still hope to catch them live sometime. And agreed, their discography is pretty damn solid so far.
