I still don't see why we are all crapping on this, I love the new sound, Savior of the Week actually impressed me

"Hopefully some technical guitarwork can come out of it but I doubt it."

Yeah in a perfect world I'd be able to hear dave over some ABR-esque guitars. But I'm definitely not holding my breath.

Heard the first track from them, Brandan from Bleeding Through is there but its meh. Dave's vocal delivery is good but the chugfest and lack of instruments makes the song suck.

The first track kinda bored me. But whoa, I need to check that new one out.

I thought that Understanding What We've Grown To Be was their best offering by far. This album sure as hell disappointed me, Regenerate was the only song I thought was decent

I really feel that this album is painfully underrated.

WCAR has always been better when they've showcased their softer, pop-influenced tendencies

Also "Savior of the Week" perfectly lampoons the nature of fanboys and fangirls who claim that something is their biggest influence and has saved their life, then that changes once Rise or Sumerian put out a new artist.

I slightly agree with malachite. Honestly it makes no difference to me what genre they do as long as I like it. TBQH this is way better than their first two albums. "The World I Used to Know" is amazing.
