Glad you enjoy the album. It has remained very near and dear to me, even nearly twenty years later.

Yeah I'm really no expert of pop punk, I like post-hardcore more (I only know bands from 2001 and later like Thursday, FFAF, Silverstein, A Static Lullaby, Dead Poetic, Alexisonfire, A Thorn For Every Heart etc. but I really like all of them).
But somehow they're very easy for me to get into (didn't like The Get Up Kids after first listen) and they seem to be more on the emo(tional) side of pop punk than others like Blink-1982 for example, maybe that's why I like this album, many songs like My Sweet Fracture are really well structured. I like other post 2000 pop punk bands like Taking Back Sunday, Armor For Sleep and Hidden In Plain View.

Yeah, Saves the Day's first three albums ('Can't Slow Down', this, and 'Stay What You Are') are all worthy imo. The next couple releases after that are significantly weaker, and then they eventually devolve into embarrassing self-parody.
I was never too big on post-hardcore or skramz or anything like that, but based on your taste you might dig Captain, We're Sinking's album 'The Future Is Cancelled'. Basically pop-punk that has a slightly rougher exterior, but isn't quite to post-hardcore crossover territory.

Man, 'My Sweet Fracture' still hits so hard.

I've only heard this, SWYA and the latest one. This one's pretty good, SWYA is one of my favorite pop-punk albums ever and 9 is atrocious. I don't think I'll check anything else they made, but some people are hyping up In Reverie so might give that one a shot.
