KH3 was alright, not as good as the first two games
Need to jam more Utada, I like the songs I’ve heard

Haven't liked either album since her comeback. They haven't been bad, but they haven't been nearly as good as her older stuff either.

@Space Jester if you are just getting into Utada Hikaru, there is no better place to start than with her first album, First Love. Perfectly encapsulates her sound, and has a number of tracks which are considered to be some of her best work.

Disagree, that album is meh. Start with Deep River.

I'm pretty impressed by this so far, would probably stick it just behind Heart Station but ahead of Ultra Blue

I think if I were to rank Hikkis albums it would go (from best to worst) Ultra Blue, Deep River, First Love, Heart Station, Fantome, Hatsukoi, Distance. Havent listened to her English albums but I havent heard good things...

Seeing Distance ranked so low breaks my heart

Distance and First Love are the two albums I haven't heard yet. Listening to super young Utada always seemed weird to me. It was like I had to be there at the time she was that popular.

I love Distance, but it was a really close call, and over all that album is the weakest in my eyes. Its still a really solid album, though. Has tons of great singles, and the opener is one of her best.

What...why? That album, aside from a few tracks, was kind of embarrassing. Exodus had some great cuts though. Easy Breezy should go in her Hall of Shame for those lyrics. I'm glad she tried to break into the American market, since she's one of the few Japanese pop artists that had a chance, but she shouldn't have changed her image for American audiences. She tried too hard to up the sex appeal, and it didn't work.
