I like the vocals, both the growls and cleans. The growls are top notch, and the cleans kinda remind of something like Hail Spirit Noir's cleans. This album rules and it's impressive how they mixed so many styles so seamlessly together in one album. I'm digging this more than the Regal Tribe, which I enjoyed a lot

Review is littered with mistakes and rambling sentences. Pretty poor overall.

"Without completely yielding to words like “unique”, “revolutionary” or “innovative” I find myself in a predicament of describing this melded foray of otherworldly grandiose."
'foray of otherworldly grandiose' does not make any sense. pretty sure you meant 'grandiosity,' but even then it sounds wordy.
"At face value, Usurpress is all of those things and with four full-lengths on shelves the larger metal community can begin to appreciate the sheer musical ability of this Uppsala-based trio"
what a mess. punctuation is your friend.
"Interregnum is a sure highlight, maintaining the crescendo in quality"
a crescendo in quality?
"Interregnum defines what it is to be an extreme metal album in 2018, combining equal parts death metal, sludge, black metal, progressive metal, goth, jazz fusion and even to certain extents crusting styled doom and while I tried to make a point of avoiding flat out hyperbole in my last few reviews I’m afraid I’m going to have to resort to all sorts of other-worldly adjectives in order to convey exactly how god-tier Usurpress have become circa 2018."
what a mess. break this up, and stop saying 'other-worldly,' which also doesn't really apply to adjectives - especially yours. also, don't hyphenate the word in one sentence and fudge it together in another. consistency, man.
"Let’s face it; if it’s true, it’s far from hyperbole."
unnecessary semicolon.
can't do the rest since i have to head to work. might point out more corrections later if you want, which i suspect you probably don't lol.

you can tell who doesn't actually read the review by the "great review" comments on the first page...
|

this is way too cheesy for me
|

There's no cheese here tbh idk where you're getting that from.

I stumbled upon this on my commute today, and immedieatley walked to the record store when I got to my hometown.
In Books Without Pages and the Vagrant Harlot are pretty awesome.

Yo this shit's pretty c4$h, to be fair. Never heard of these guys before but I'm loving the variation in this album.

Interregnum opens strongly with “A Place In The Pantheon” harkens back to the band’s previous records with unspoken immediacy.

I love the production, but sometimes the record is a bit messy. It's very deverse though, and the instrumentation and riffs are amazing. I have no problems with the vocals at all, I think they fit the music great

Correct me if i'm wrong. Although this is somewhat more eclectic, or varied, in intensity and vocally, i'm getting some vibes from Hooded Menace, witch in my case is not bad at all. Can see some Opeth there to.
Loved this, heard it twice in a row, my fave for now is Ships of Black Glass.
"but sometimes the record is a bit messy" and what a beautiful mess it is m/
