Well, actually they do!
You're right though, I sort of just come here for...nothing too positive now. Innocent/pure me left the building and still exists on RYM and various other places.
Sadly this site just gets the shit version now and I do feel a bit bad about that but it's a weird compulsion, guess this is the place I love to hate, but there is a slither of love there. I'm a bit too neutral about my experience here.
I think taking three months off from Sput did it.

This place is still useful and occasionally really enjoyable but I treat it like a hotel room now, sometimes I leave my soggy towels in the bathtub

There’s nowhere quite like Sput and sure, this is the only place I know two hundred or so users, and people are primarily here to chat.
A lot of the users I get on with best/respect most are also on LastFM and/or RYM. Don’t think I’d ever fully quit Sput - like I said I don’t feel I’m as emotionally invested as before so there’s no reason I’d need to now.
In terms of ratings and content I’ve added I’d be far more upset if my RYM account got wiped than this one. Still, I know what you miss if you take a break from Sput and no other site out there can quite scratch that itch.
