"done with drugs not being srs is fair enough/good, but it really doesn't work in the context of the album unless every single song is trying to poke fun (like fuckin doom boy lol)"
huh, alright. It's just a fun, satirical song alongside a bunch of other songs that are pretty fun. Never thought it felt mismatched 'within the context of the album' but everyone's got their take I guess.

Why is this of all things getting the bi-monthly "pop-punk, but its cool" certification?

Googled Hamilton. Looks like an incubator for pop-punk brats

Haha there's a lot of places across Canada like that - it's not the paradise that everyone outside the country thinks it is.

Man, the worst thing you can do when making pop punk is making it so damn dull. Credit where it's due, I thought Hello Jealousy was a good tune
"Why is this of all things getting the bi-monthly "pop-punk, but its cool" certification?"

wow, this doesn't sound worth my time checking out at all. Great review, I feel like over the years I have listened to this exact album 50 or so times.

it feels like a record written by adults who traveled back in time and wrote the album in their teenage bodies, and awakens our own sense of confusingly hormonal involvement with our lives

Don't like it as much as Master Volume, but this is... decent. Still sad that they've moved on from the Minimum R&B sound
