Eidolon into Remnant was definitely my fave part on first listen. I went back to listen to both of those together.

After listening three or four times now, I gotta say this album is amazing to me.
Your review seems to make a lot of silly assumptions that I don't think are remotely accurate. Like Jesse "not giving a shit" and being boring. I guess to each his own.

Really wanted to turn this off when I heard Jesse on the intro of Lunar Halo

Slapped on a 3.5, not sure if I'll remember it in a week or so. That said, the production is boulder heavy and super tight which I like a lot.

Removed that not giving a shit line, it was unnecessary.

Lunar Halo's intro is really jarring, but the actual song is a slapper and doesn't feel like 6 minutes whatsoever.

Give me Eidolon, Gungrave, Snowblood, House of Glass, Shadow, and Remnant. Everything else I dont really care about.

Garrison will always be the true vocalist of this band. Mad respect to JT though, he really stepped up on this one and proved to be a worthy successor
Sumerian definitely held these guys back.

This sounds so much like Augment Vol II.

This hits a lot harder than prior releases which is my biggest draw. But I still find some of the clean vocal sections are a bit cringey
