This could grow to a 4, it is very very good, and more than anything I think the issue with the sillier songs is that they detract from the seriousness of the other songs, I don't have a whole ton of a problem with the fact that they're silly and I could see how in a context where every song is silly I could enjoy them a lot more. :-D

The silly songs on here (in my opinion) symbolize a greater emotional point about Ween

It's that one of the members, lead vocalist Gene Ween (Aaron Freeman,) has been depressed pretty much since the beginning of Ween's career in in the 1980s, but he often would hide it with humor and zaniness and that's kind of Quebec's point. Even the silly songs on here are either depressing or paranoid in their own way.

Though if you want sillier, try The Mollusk, it only has like 2 serious tracks.

I'm not quite sure sillier is what I want :-P

Either way this was admittedly a much better experience than I ever imagined I would have with Ween! :D

I thought green day was the edgiest band back in middle school

I somehow also got into ween then. I think chocolate and cheese was so damn wierd for me at the time that i just had to keep listening to it over and over again that i grew to love it pretty quickly

This grew off me pretty quickly I must admit, still pretty good though and "Transdermal Celebration" is a serious jam.

This album is my favorite by ween and possibly in my top five albums honestly. Only song I don't like the fucked jam but it gets the wildcard.
