decided to check this band out cause they are going on tour with Silverstein, Seeyouspacecowboy and One Step Closer next year. Dude does have a great voice but everything else about this record feels like it was generated by AI. They could be on a bill with Coldplay and not feel out of place.

That being said it was not at all offensive to the ears. I’d say it would even make pleasant background music while sipping a latte at your local starbucks. I will probably find a chair and play some runescape on my phone during their set.

Seeing them live probably isn't the best introduction to the band. From what I've seen, they're a snoozer of a live show. They recently headlined a tour where they were totally outperformed by Caskets and Holding Absence who opened for them.

Dang really? That’s a shame, I would have hoped their live show would be good.

They do sound good live, despite a handful of offputting backing vocal tracks they sing alongside. They're kind of all just statues out there on the stage.

Title track on Sleeptalk is amazing. That album is generally much better than this one, but it’s also just a different feel entirely.

I'll never forget listening to "Neon Grave" and thinking of how good this was gonna be after the great previous album, and then being letdown with what this actually turned out to be

Neon graves was perfectly indicative of what this album was going to be like

Neon Grave is what I was hoping the whole album would sound like. It doesn't. Its a pop album with little to no riffing. but its fucking awesome.

Only time i've seen these guys live was when they supported Thornhill on an Aussie tour. Gravemind was also on the bill so they were in that middle slot and not many cared about them honestly. Still a pretty nice set though can't complain. Met the bassist after who was a super nice dude.
