the artist (royalrrumble on IG) does a lot of amazing work for hip hop artists, apparently this was his first time working with a metal band.

Got around to spinning it a couple times. Don't think it tops the previous album, but it's decent enough. I wouldn't say it's frontloaded, but the majority is right: nothing touches the opening duo.

This bands rising popularity here is so curious to me, cause I always thought they were super mid and uninteresting compared to their peers around the time I was in high school 09-13. Even the newer stuff I've heard have just been like okay, so it's weird to see so much praise thrown in their direction lol

When we don’t exist is pretty fun but other than that yeah they’re McDonald’s core

I used to jam their first two back when I was in high school (same years), but recognized it as a guilty pleasure, cuz the songwriting was not really up to par. VERY hit or miss as far as deep cuts go, but always felt that they were at least better than the average Risecore soundalike.

Gotta agree with steak. It's honestly almost baffling to me that they are still around after all this time, especially considering how many other popular bands have died out since then.

I remember they had a bit of hype around their first EP/album mainly due to that fact their singer was the dude from the Emarosa, but I thought it was a massive disappointment in comparison.

Props to them for sticking around this long i guess.

ive never really liked them until now outside of like a song or two here and there. their old shit is really mind numbing. i dont really think this is like amazing or anything tho

they tour their asses off tho so thats probably how theyve done it. i have probably paid to see shows theyve been at (and then not seen them) like three or four times lmao, but next time that happens i'll probably check these songs out

Rising in popularity because they’re rising in quality. Been steadily improving for their entire career.

what’s weird about a band that’s been mid for like 13 years being praised for writing good music lol

Over the garden wall would be such a heater if the chorus was cut from the track. pains me how much that damn chorus kills the momentum of an otherwise filthy vocal performance
